William Terence O'Brien

Age 88, of Decatur, passed away December 25th, 2018. He was born May 7th, 1930, in Cork Ireland to the late Dermot and Mary O’Brien.
He immigrated to the US in 1949 at the age of 19.
He Faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 50 years, a member of the Saint Vincent De Paul Society as well as serving as the president of the Hibernian Society from 1966 through 1968.
He was member of the IBEW Local 613 for over 65 years and worked in multiple locations during his career.
Survivors include his children John Charles (Melanie) O’Brien of Lilburn, Brian Francis O’Brien (Bobbie) of East Point, Sheila Marie Bellows of Gainesville, FL; grandchildren Leah O’Brien(Matt) Kendry, Melissa O’Brien (Rhett) White of Smyrna, Katie O’Brien (Brett) Budlong of Charleston, SC., Shannon O’Brien of Denver CO.; great grandchildren Rob White, Eloise Kendry, Amelia Kendry, Miller Budlong, Charlotte White, Brody Budlong, Arthur Kendry.
