William Herndon

William “Bill” Herndon, age 85, of Atlanta, Georgia died July 5, 2011 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his son, William Jr., his brothers, Raymond and Osborne and his sister Mary Margaret Lumpkin. He is survived by his wife, Susan, and his children, Susan Sanborn David, Raymond Herndon Alice, Barbara Herndon, step-son Raymond Gunther, grand-son Ben Sanborn, brother George Herndon and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral Mass will take place at Christ the King Cathedral on July 18th at 10:30 A.M. Internment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Atlanta.
