Vivian Claire (Horton) Harrell

Vivian Claire Horton Harrell, born December 8, 1940, in Decatur Ga., a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother & friend passed away at the age of 84 on August 9, 2025. She is survived by her husband of 64 + years Bobby A Harrell, her son Brett Harrell, her daughter Shannon H McCart (Greg), Gran to Trevor McCart, Becky McCart Kent (Eric), Briggs Harrell, Great Gran/GIGI to Taryn McCart, Charleigh Kent, Austin Kent and Madison Kent.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents Cyrus William Horton, III (Bud) and Clemence Auclair Horton and survived by her brother Bill Horton (Pat Horton) and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Vivian graduated from Decatur High School in 1959 with her high school sweetheart Bobby.

A private interment was held at the City of Decatur Cemetery on August 29, 2025, followed by a Celebration of Life on August 30, 2025.
