Vera Joyce Hendrix

Vera Joyce Hendrix, 88, passed away peacefully at her home at Ansley Park Nursing Center in Newnan, GA on September 29, 2023.

She was, heartbreakingly, predeceased by four of her children, Wade, Chana, Melinda, and Nathan. She is survived by her two remaining children, Erin and Misty, and a gaggle of grand and great-grand children.

Joyce, as she was known most of her life, enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and was hard-pressed to pass by a yard sale or thrift store. In recent years, she was known as Vera, and added coloring, playing bingo, and a good Law & Order or NCIS marathon to her list.

Whether known as Vera or Joyce, she was a beloved player in many people’s lives and will be greatly missed.

At her request, there will be no formal service. Just take a moment, think of your favorite memory of her, and smile.
