Thomas J. Schermerhorn

Dr. Tom Schermerhorn, age 80, passed away Dec. 17. He was a member of the
First Presbyterian Church for more than 40 years. Tom graduated from the
Virginia Military Institute and the Medical College of Virginia. He served
in the U.S. Air force as a flight surgeon and practiced ophthalmology.here
in Atlanta.
He is survived by his wife Landora, sons Thomas Jr. and Jeffrey Diane,
daughters Kathy Tom Coffey and Patricia Clif Callaway, sisters Carolyn
Lucy, Helen Phin Wood and 8 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta on
Dec. 27 at 2:00 PM.
