Susan K Waters

Susan K Waters, 82, of Atlanta, GA, passed away peacefully at home on September 27, 2024, surrounded by her family and caregivers.

Born in Glouster, Ohio, on May 29, 1942, Susan studied business in Columbus, OH, and worked there until she relocated to Atlanta in the sixties.

While modeling and acting, she held several jobs including at BellSouth. In the seventies, she raised her son, working as a realtor at Coldwell Banker. By the eighties, she became the proprietor of the flower and gift shop at the Westin Hotel.

Susan met Byron in 1999, they married on September 29, 2001, and lived a life filled with love and laughter. She will be remembered for her gentleness of spirit, kindness, generosity, quick humor and sharp wit.

Predeceased by her mother Thelma Hoffee of Columbus OH, Susan is survived by her husband, Byron Tsinikas, of Atlanta, GA, her brother, Arthur Jauchius, of Columbus, OH, and her son, Sean Waters, of Clarkston, GA.

A celebration of Susan’s life will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dementia Society of America
