Susan Elaine Mitchell

Susan Elaine Mitchell passed away at home February 9, 2024 in Snellville, Georgia. Suzie was born August 13, 1957 in Mobile, Alabama where she lived her early years. She later spent many years in Montgomery, Alabama before finally settling in Georgia. Suzie was a needle woman of exceptional talent and skill in all forms of needlecraft, and she was an absolute wizard of crochet.

Suzie was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy King, of Cullman, Alabama and her father, Everett Mitchell, of Oxford, Alabama. She is survived by her brother and sister, Sam and Sally Mitchell, her stepfather, John King, and her niece, Victoria Mitchell. She also leaves behind family, cousins, and many friends who will cherish the memory of Suzie’s loving heart, helping hands, and contagious smile.

Interment will take place at a later date at a graveside service in the Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville, Alabama in the family plot.
