Susie P (Childrey) Lawrence, 46, of Atlanta, Georgia
Born Susan Pirie Childrey at Fort Riley, Kansas, passed away September 29, 2017. Susie was an Army brat, living in Kansas and Bangkok, Thailand before settling in Atlanta, Georgia. A Graduate of Georgia State University with an Education Degree in Math and Science, later earning a degree at The Atlanta Arts Institute in Graphic Design. Susie was a Visual Information Specialist for the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Her life passion for horses led to a U. S. Dressage Federation National Championship in 1991 and many lifelong friends. Predeceased by grandparents Albert and Lucy Childrey of Atlanta and Leonard Whitmore of Hebo, Oregon, Her loving memory will forever be cherished by her parents Albert and Nancy (Whitmore) Childrey of Cumming, GA, son Austin Gray Lawrence and husband Gary Michael Lawrence of Atlanta, brother A.B. Childrey and nephew Luke Childrey of Cumming, GA and grandmother Jessie Whitmore of Bend, Oregon.

Memorial Services at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 4882 Lavista Rd, Tucker GA on October 14, 2017 at 2pm. Private Internment.
