Steve Matton

E. Stephen Matton II, age 49, of Atlanta, Georgia, enter the Gates of Heaven on Dec 15th. 2012. He graduated from Westminster Schools, attended Furman University and Georgia Southern.

Steve was a professional golfer and teaching professional for many years at the PGA Tour Superstores. He was the owner of Yoforia Frozen Yogurt in Sandy Springs.

Steve was active in many charitable organizations throughout his life, was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and an active member at Peachtree Presbyterian Church.

He is pre-deceased by his brother, Peter. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl, his beloved daughter, Caroline, his parents, Ernest and Barbara Matton, of Hilton Head Island, SC., formally of Atlanta, his brother, Greg and sister-in-law Teresa, as well as his niece and nephew, Alexis and Kyle Matton of Tampa, Fla.

A Life Celebration Memorial service for Steve will be held at The Kellett Chapel at Peachtree Presbyterian Church, 3434 Roswell Rd.NW, Atlanta, GA on Thursday, Dec 20th at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
