Stephen Gabriel Matthews

Stephen G. Matthews age 67 of, Conyers, GA died February 25, 2010. Stephen was very active in church all his life. His parents were missionaries in Portugal where he spent 9 years with them and became fluent in Portuguese. He graduated Bob Jones College and retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation in 2003. He was a member of Holy Cross Anglican Church in Loganville where he was a member of the choir. He is survived by his life partner; Ben Tate of, Conyers, mother; Helen Matthews of Toronto, Canada, sister; Paula Baines of, New Haven CT., niece; Alicia Baines LaVergne, TN., nephews; Matthew and Adam Baines of New Haven, CT.
