Shirley Kate Barrett

Shirley K Barrett, 83, born January 9th 1936 born in Dallas, GA resided in Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on February 3, 2019.
Shirley is survived by Theresa Samples, Daughter, Ann Freeman, Daughter, David Barrett, Son, Grandchildren – Marie (Thomas) Elam, Dewey Hiram (Buck) Samples IV and Michelle Freeman, Great Grandson, Hunter Samples and Great Granddaughter, Elise Elam and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Otha Jim Barrett, loving husband
In accordance with her wishes she was cremated and there will be a Celebration Of Life scheduled for March 2, 2019 – 2:00 PM at New Covenant United Methodist Church, 5960 GA-5, Douglasville, GA 30135. Pastor Mike Dunbar will officiate the ceremony.
