Sherri Janice Newman

Sherri Janice Newman died on September 5th after a long illness. Sherri worked at various places as an apartment manager for 25 years and most recently at her favorite employment at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens in Gainesville. She had a caring, positive attitude and was much loved by all her many friends. She also had a charm that drew people to her plus a spirit that never gave up. Sherri will be missed by so many. She leaves her sons Mark Strunk, Michael Strunk (Kym) and daughter, Lisa McClain (Gregg) and her mother, Miriam Newman, plus numerous grand and great grand children. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Richard, Charles Paul and Glen Thomas Newman. Honoring her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. Arrangements are with the Cremation Society of Georgia and set for Monday, Sept 9th.
