Sandra Lynn Mathers

Sandra Lynn Thornton Mathers, 6512 Deerings Lane, Norcross, GA 30092, died April 9, 2012 after a brief battle with an aggressive disease. Sandra is survived by her husband, Charles Mathers, her son Richard Scott Hamilton of Coconut Creek, FL, her sister, Carla DeWindt husband Vic DeWindt of Chamblee, GA, her niece, Heather DeWindt, and nephews, Billy DeWindt and Vic DeWindt, Jr., and her aunt and uncle, Odessa and Arlen Davis of Tucson AZ. She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Helms, her father Clarence Robinson, her step-father, William Thornton, and her niece, Donna Ekers. Sandra worked at the Salvation Army in the office of the Commander Southern Territory ARC as office manager and assistant to the commander. A memorial service will be held at Shallowford Presbyterian Church on Saturday April 14, 2012 at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Salvation Army Atlanta ARC, P.O.
