Ross Carson Spencer

Ross Carson Spencer, 30, passed away on June 20, 2026, in Marietta, Georgia. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, Ross was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose bright spirit touched everyone he met.

Ross was a charismatic young man with a quick wit, a gentle spirit, and a smile that could light up any room. From an early age, he showed natural athletic talent and a deep love for animals, music, and fashion. He was the kind of person who could talk to anyone—kind, understanding, and full of life and laughter. Those who knew him remember the joy he brought through simple moments of fun, humor, and connection. He possessed a keen sense of humor, charm, and that special “X-Factor”—a people-magnet charisma that drew others to him. He loved sports and could "sofa coach" and predict drafts better than anyone. He was also a lifelong fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Carolina Panthers.

Prior to relocating to Marietta, Georgia, he lived and worked in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he thrived, met many wonderful people in recovery, and thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Red Rock Canyon area.

His family stood by him with unwavering support through both his accomplishments and life’s struggles, always cherishing the bright, talented, and loving soul they knew. As his mother shared, there were a million times more laughs, deep connections, memories, and amazing times than there were struggles. He loved and he lived, and those vibrant moments remain forever embedded in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Ross’s vibrant, extraordinary, and energetic soul will live on in all who loved him. Each of us is grateful for the joy and love he brought to our lives. He was always surrounded by so much love and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his father, Jeffrey Carson Spencer and Gayle Spencer; his mother, Teresa Floyd Peeples and Ronald Peeples Jr.; his grandparents, William ("Papa Bill") and Eva ("Nana") Spencer; his brother, Austen Peeples and wife Jessi Peeples; and his nephew, Creed Connor Peeples. He is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles, and cousins: Greg and Julie Spencer (Cassidy); Ryan and Melanie Spencer (Landon, Olivia, Ethan, and Violet); Claude Ross Floyd, Jr. and Bobbie Floyd (Chip Floyd); Wm. Roger and Vancie Floyd (with Will Floyd); Fred and Amy Clark (George Clark) as well as his beloved pet and companion, Sweet Baby Dior, and many more cousins, loving relatives, and dear friends.

Special thanks and deepest gratitude are extended to the Valor House in Marietta, Georgia, for their amazing program and services to the community, and to the Director, Rudra, for his exceptional love and support for Ross and our family.

Ross will forever be remembered for the love, laughter, and moments of success he shared with those around him. His gentle and kind spirit will continue to shine. Though his time on earth was far too short, the memories he leaves behind will truly never die in our hearts.
