Rodger Starling Hasty

Dacula-Rodger Starling Hasty, 82, died Friday, April 7, 2017. Rodger was born November 21,1934 in Detroit, MI where he grew up. He served in the United States Army Special Forces from 1954-1957. He married DeEtte Kissane on April 21^st,1962 in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. Together they raised 2 children. Rodger was self-employed until he retired. They have resided in Dacula for the past 12 years with their daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. Rodger loved wood working, researching his family ancestry, collecting and reading books and was a US and Military History Buff.

He leaves behind his wife, DeEtte Kissane Hasty; Daughter Diana Brooks; Son-in-law, Dr. Christopher Brooks; Son Mark Hasty; Daughter-in-Law, Laura Hasty; 5 grandchildren, C. Austin Brooks, Danielle Brooks, Gianna Brooks, Ethan Hasty, Claire Hasty and his brother Arthur Hasty of Michigan.
