Roberta "Robbi" Gail Braun

August 20, 1952 — May 14, 2025

Roberta Gail Braun, lovingly known as Robbi, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus at the age of 72, on Wednesday May 14, 2025. Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, Robbi spent much of her life in Georgia, where she built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and service to others.

Robbi loved Jesus and trusted God with all her heart. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she lived as a shining example of grace, humility, and unwavering trust in the Lord.

She shared 48 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Chris Braun. Together, they raised their son, Kevin, and welcomed their daughter-in-law, Lindsay, into the family with joy. Robbi’s greatest delight in her later years was her granddaughter, Aspen, who brought light and laughter to her every day.

Robbi is also survived by her loving sisters, Patricia (Steve) and Linda; and by her brothers-in-law Craig (Susan), Calvin (Rita), and Corey (Donya). She was surrounded throughout her life by a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, all of whom she cherished dearly.

A selfless individual, Robbi was always willing to help and serve others. She found joy in giving—through quiet acts of kindness, steadfast support, and a heart full of love. Her warm spirit and gentle nature touched all who knew her.

Robbi had a deep love for music and was an active member of the choirs at both Ebenezer United Methodist Church and Dunwoody United Methodist Church, where her voice was lifted in praise and worship.

Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as a small child, Robbi never let her illness define her or hold her back. She lived with remarkable strength and resilience, thriving as a bright and joyful presence in the lives of her family and friends.

Robbi’s life was a testament to faith, love, and unwavering devotion. She will be deeply missed, and her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in all who were blessed to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Dunwoody United Methodist Church on Saturday May 31st at 11:00 am in the sanctuary. Robbi’s family will welcome visitors at 10:15 am in the parlor at Dunwoody United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either the music program at Dunwoody United Methodist Church or to the American Diabetes Association.
