Robert David Vogel

Robert David Vogel was born March 21, 1962, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was adopted by Joan and John Vogel, the second of their four children. He passed away at 64 years old on September 30, 2026.

Rob was a devoted son, caring brother, and loving friend. He was known by all as a funny and genuine person. Those who knew him well would count singing among the things he loved most. Yearly vacations with his singing group, Up With People, brought him much joy. He never struggled to meet new people and win them over with his charm and wit.

Rob truly loved his friends and community, and they loved him in return. His time dedicated to his work at Ainsley Realty created numerous connections. He will be missed by those lucky enough to have spent time with him.

Always an optimist, Rob could find the silver lining in any situation and always looked at the world through rose-colored glasses. He could frequently be found out on the town spending time with his friends, the gift of gab shared freely among those in his presence.

Besides socializing, Rob also loved new adventures and travel and dreamed of a comfortable, happy life. He had always hoped to retire one day in Puerto Vallarta. This zest for life and bright-eyed wonder were his trademark, along with his charming smile and hearty laughter. All of this will be sorely missed by his loved ones.

Robert is survived by his sisters, Marge and Barbara; Mike (Denise); and his nieces and nephews, Emma Brunckhorst, Chris (Vanessa) Brunckhorst, Victoria Sanchez, Antonio Sanchez, and Joe (Sarah) Sanchez.

Goodbye, sweet brother, beloved uncle and godfather. Farewell, our cherished friend. We will love you always and keep your memories close to our hearts.
