Robert Johnson "Johnny" Weekley

Robert Johnson “Johnny” Weekley, 87, of Stone Mountain passed away June 13, 2018. He was a devoted family man and Army veteran, and a leader in local Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups.

Johnny was preceded in death by parents John Francis Weekley and Mary Wright Weekley, as well as by son Robert Martin Weekley. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Florence Stancliff Weekley; brother Eugene Weekley and sister Carrie May Walker; children Timothy Johnson Weekley, Mary Katherine Weekley and Glen Matthew Weekley; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Interment will be June 18 at 1:30 pm at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to James F. Byrnes Scholarship Foundation, PO Box 678, Columbia, SC 29269.
