Richard Casper Glass, J.D. January 11, 1947 – January 3, 2016 passed away following a difficult battle with cancer. Mr. Glass received his BA from Duke University in 1968. He subsequently obtained an MBA from New York University and a JD from Duke University. Mr. Glass practiced law in the Atlanta area from the mid-1970s, specializing in franchising law, until his retirement from the law firm, Paul Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in the early 1990s. During his practice, he was an active and contributing member of the International Franchise Association. Following his retirement, Mr. Glass became an avid traveler and photographer and he was a beloved and devoted family member and friend. Mr. Glass was born in New Brunswick, NJ to Edward David Glass, Sr. and Margaret Anna Deschu Glass. He is succeeded by his two brothers, Edward David Glass, Jr. of State College, PA and Alan Ronald Glass of Palm City, FL, and their respective wives, Joan Glass and Jane Glass. He is also succeeded by nieces Sherrie McAvoy and Kristin Glass and nephews David Glass and Mark Glass, as well as seven great nieces and nephews, a great-great niece and multiple cousins.
