Raymond Fenwick Fleet, Jr.

Raymond F. Fleet, Jr., age 91, of Atlanta, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday Oct. 16, 2016. Ray grew up in Marblehead, Massachusetts, and graduated from Marblehead High School and Boston University. He served in the US Army in Europe during WWII and was awarded The Purple Heart. He is a retiree from Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. and was a member of Toastmasters International. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Eleanor R. D’Orlando Fleet, his sister Janice Tully, sons Mark Fleet Caroline and David Fleet “Cissy”, daughter Maria fleet, granddaughter Alice Kaplan Jeff, and grandsons Nash Fleet Emma, and Tim Fleet.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 in the chapel at Embry Hills United Methodist Church, 3304 Henderson Mill Rd., Atlanta, GA 30341, where Ray was an active member and usher for many years. In lieu of flowers, friends and family are invited to make a donation to the church, or to a charity of their choice.
