Ralph Stuart Smith

Mr. Ralph S. Smith, 78, passed on September 22, 2013. A graduate of Bucknell University ’56 he pursued a career in insurance first with Lincoln National Life with posts in Washington, DC, Erie, PA and Columbus, OH and then General American Life Insurance with posts in Columbus, OH and Atlanta, GA. He eventually became Executive VP with control of offices in Boston, MA, Philadelphia, PA, Pittsburgh, PA, Louisville, KY, Orlando and Tampa, FL. He liked to spend his spare time traveling, playing golf and reading. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ann C Smith, two daughters, Tracy K Stuart and Kelly M Baer, one son, Ramsay S Smith and five grandchildren. There will be a private family memorial celebration of life service at a later date. Please send any donations in Ralph S.
