We Will Miss You
On April 23, 2011 Ralph Joel Siskind passed away at his home. He was 60 years old.
Last August he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer at Emory Hospital.
Ralph was born 08/06/1950 in Lafayette, Indiana to Jewish Parents George and Naomi Siskind. While his father finished his P.H.D in Psychology at Purdue.
Ralph Siskind attended Shortidge High School in Indianapolis 1964-1968 and 1968-1971 he
attended Earlham College for 3 years a small private college.
Ralph opened Siskind Bakery on 1986 a Kosher Bakery. Later he started Atlanta Cake with his wife.
In 1996 Ralph married HuaTing, Liu’s daughter Jing Liu Chinese name. One day Ralph and Jing met at a party in Atlanta. They were lovers over 15 years and her son Cong Liu is a student.
Ralph was a member of YMCA since 1999. He loved working out at the “Y” every day.
When Ralph was in the high school. He played Football, wrestling and baseball and was a member of the Key club a service organization.
Ralph was a popular guy. Always ready with a joke. When he was in College. He had a lots friend. Everyone loved him.
In 2007 Ralph and Jing and Cong traveled to Japan and met his wife’s young sister. They visited Tokyo and Yokohama. Then they traveled to China met his wife’s whole family in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Harbin. Ralph loved China and loved his wife’s family and her family loved Ralph as well.
Ralph and wife were planning to return to China to live. Unfortunately he passed away before that was possible. Everyone loved Ralph. We will miss him so much……
