Ralph C. Coggins, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Joe Clayton Coggins and Josephine Sikes Gilmer. He is survived by his wife, Clarice Arnold Coggins having recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary November 27, 2009. He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Ann and son-in law Richard Brooks of Dallas, GA; son, Ralph Clayton Jr. and daughter in-law Sheron Coggins of Cumming, GA; grandchildren Kramer and Candice Borders and Tiffany and Heather Coggins; and step sister Beverly Clement of Winder, GA. Mr. Coggins was a graduate of Bass High School, also attending two years of college at Georgia State University. He was a Sergeant in the US Army serving in Korea. Before retiring Mr. Coggins also worked at a Parts Manager at many Chevrolet dealerships in the metro Atlanta area. He is a member of Glen Haven Baptist Church. Fond of the University of Georgia, Mr. Coggins was also avid Georgia bulldog fan.
