FORD, Peggy Woodall of Atlanta, born August 6, 1930 in Macon, GA, passed away on February 20, 2011. Peggy was a lifelong Atlanta resident, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She attended A.L. Miller High School, Wesleyan College and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism. She had a passion for playing bridge Silver Life Master, gardening, her friends and travel. She married her childhood sweetheart Johnny Ford. She is predeceased by her husband John Wesley Ford, Jr., mother Lucille Hill Woodall, father Henry Frank Woodall and sister Minnie Woodall Mullen. She is survived by her son John Wesley Ford, III, her son Scott Cameron Ford, his wife Fay Lyles Ford, her daughter Kathryn Ford Jarmusch, her husband Kurt Jonathon Jarmusch, her daughter Ashley Ford Heffron, her husband Jean-Michel Patrick Heffron, her three grandsons Cameron Scott Ford, his wife Melanie McLaurin Ford, Evan Patrick Jarmusch , and Cole John Henry Heffron, two granddaughters Jennifer Lynn Ford and Jessica Ford Sudderth, her husband Joseph Brian Sudderth, and one great grandson Rhyan Scott Ford. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 25th at The Cathedral of St. Philip, 2744 Peachtree Road, N.W., Atlanta, GA 30305.
