Pearle Elinor Uitvlugt

Pearle Uitvlugt b. 1926, daughter of John and Eva Barber of South Boardman, Michigan, passed away on January 12, 2011, in Roswell, Georgia. Pearle married Henry Uitvlugt in 1947 and began raising a family. A wondrously caring, supportive, and loving mother, Pearle gave birth to her first son Gary in 1950, followed by Brian in 1961. After the family moved to Wyoming, Michigan, Pearle chose retail sales as her career. She worked for 5 years at Wurzburg’s Department Store and 30 years at Rogers Department Store, both in Wyoming. With the death of Henry in 1996, she moved to Atlanta in 1999. For the past 10 years, Pearle worked at Macy’s. She is survived by her sons, by her grandchildren Heather Timmer, Alix Hancox, Brianne Uitvlugt, John Uitvlugt, and Jeremy Uitvlugt, and by her great grandchildren Michael Timmer and McKenzi Morrison.
