Patricia Monica Henderson

Mrs. Patricia M. Henderson is at peace after a 4-year battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. She was born in England on October 15, 1923.

Pat and her late husband Paddy, who passed in 1990, moved to Georgia in 1962 and considered the South their home. He was cremated and has remained her constant companion albeit under her bed since then.

She leaves behind a daughter Jacqueline Flood, son Sean Henderson and her beloved little Border Terrier Ghillie, who has been assimilated into the Flood clan.

Pat loved and was loved by all her friends, whether Brit or American and when she was able, really enjoyed social gatherings. She could regale people with stories about her time in the Royal Air Force where she met Paddy, or some of her many trips abroad.

It was her choice to be cremated by the Cremation Society of Georgia. Instead of a memorial service, there will be a “Celebration of Pat’s Life” on March 29, 2015. The location will be announced later.
