Norma Becht Neel

Norma Irene Becht Neel, of Roswell, Georgia, went to heaven on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. She was a vibrant 80 years old who never missed an event of her children or grandchildren. She was even known to Uber to sporting events if needed. Norma lived for her large family and was loved and cherished by all.   Norma was born in Lafayette, Indiana and attended Purdue University. She moved to Atlanta 50 years ago and raised her family in Sandy Springs. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard, sons Edwin (Sara) Neel, Casey Neel, Shane (Susan) Neel, and her daughter, Stephanie Neel Reis. She adored her 11 grandchildren (Mike, Chris, Becht, Katie, Maddie, Sara Adelaide, Lindsey, Davis, Coulton, Sam, Mitch)and her 8 great grandchildren. There will be a private family funeral at Christ the King Catholic Church on Monday, May 29th, 2017. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
