Michael Anthony Weigle

Michael Anthony Tony Weigle, 56 of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on Sunday September 20, 2015 in the company of close family and friends.
Tony was born in Augusta, Ga. The son of Edward G. deceased and Virginia G Weigle where he attended Richmond Academy and Augusta Regents University. He received his Masters of Taxation at the University of Georgia in Athens. He has lived in Atlanta for the past thirty years where he has been a very active member of his church, Peachtree Christian Church, a devoted husband and father to his wife and two daughters, and an avid University of Georgia fan and supporter. He has had a lifelong career as a tax accountant and was a Senior Tax Manager for Deloitte Tax of Atlanta.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years Dawn Clabaugh, his daughters, Sarah Lindsey and Rachel Emily of Atlanta; his mother Virginia G. Weigle ; sisters Sherril Weigle and Julie CharlesWelch ; brothers John EdwardEdith Weigle and Clarence Elliott Debra Weigle, three nieces , two nephews and four grandnieces all of Augusta, Ga.
Services will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta, Ga. at 5:00 PM. Visitation with the family will follow at 6:00 PM .
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Heritage Fund of Peachtree Christian Church at 1580 Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30309 or donations may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation at www.pcf.org/TonyWeigle. The family urges everyone to become aware of the warning signs of prostate cancer because this cancer is impacting the lives of our husbands, sons, and fathers.
