Martha Macaulay Garrett, 92, of Americus, GA and formerly Decatur, GA died August 16, 2010 in Americus, GA
Mrs. Garrett was born Nov. 7, 1917 in Atlanta, GA to the late Edgar N. Macaulay and Nell C. Macaulay.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William H. Garrett, Sr.; her son William H. Garrett, Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce L. Garrett of Avondale Estates, GA and Jeannie G. Stanfield Steve of Americus, GA. Grandchildren: Heath Garrett Lee; Cliff Stanfield Beth and Susanne Volk Marc. Four great-grandchildren: Mattie, Heath, Jr. and Brumby Garrett and Ford Stanfield.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur, GA
A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church at a later date.
