Margaret Frady

Nina Margaret Collings Frady, age 76, from Atlanta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Margaret is survived by three children, daughter Marsy and her husband Matt Mechling, son Bobby and his wife Robin Frady, daughter Rebecca and her husband Don Garman, and six grandchildren, Chloe, Parker, Dakota, Mateo, Sebastian and Soledad. Margaret was preceded in death by both parents: Robert E. Collings, Jr. and Nina Margaret Collings. Margaret graduated from Brown High School in 1956. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from LaGrange College and a Master of Science degree from Auburn University. Margaret was a teacher and media specialist for the DeKalb County School District for 20 years. She was a woman of faith and a proud member of Briarcliff United Methodist Church for almost fifty years. There will be a visitation at 10:00 am and a memorial service at 11:00 am on July 25, 2015 at Briarcliff United Methodist Church, 4105 Briarcliff Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30345. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Margaret’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LaGrange College scholarship fund at www.lagrange.edu/give or to Briarcliff United Methodist Church.
