Luisa Ramona Blanco

LUISA RAMONA NIETO BLANCO, 92 of Atlanta, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. She was born in Santiago de Cuba, Oriente. Luisa is survived by two daughters, Lucila L. Blanco and Beatriz Blanco (Robert) Funk. Grandchildren, Felipe (Kelly) Benedit, Beatriz Benedit, Elisabeth Funk (Josh) Jones and Catherine Funk (Chris) Goryl. And 10 great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Lauren and Thomas Benedit; Hunter, Connor and Kieran Murray; Owen and Emmelyn Jones; and Greyson and Finley Goryl; her brother, Benigno Nieto of Miami, FL and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Hernán Blanco, her sister Ana Maria Nieto Metzger and her step-brother, Miguel Lucero. Due to Covid 19, services and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 2855 Briarcliff Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30329.
