Lucy W. Hamilton

HAMILTON, Lucy Warren, Covington, GA died March 23, 2017.  Lucy was born July 30, 1931 in Rome, GA.  After graduating from Rome Girls High, she married Jim Hamilton and after his service in the United States Navy they settled in Stone Mountain, GA and raised their three sons.  Lu never met a stranger and always gave to those in need.  She was also instrumental in the founding and running of PCI/Procoaters, Inc., a successful family business that she and Jim nurtured for the past 43 years with their family.

She is survived by son James Gregory Hamilton, wife Jan, grandsons James Brett and Christopher Warren, son John Wesley Hamilton, wife Kay, grandsons Beau Wesley, Adam Tyler, Jonathan Chase, son Glen Denton Hamilton, wife Terri, grandsons Zachary Lee and Nicholas Brandon, brother-in-law Dr. Morris L. Hamilton, sister-in-law Dr. Frances Elaine Hamilton and several great grandchildren and many great friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband James Gist Hamilton, Jr. and her parents George Wesley Warren and Sarah Autry Warren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in her honor to the charity of choice.  Private services will be held.
