Lawrence Alfred Brown

Lawrence Alfred Brown passed on January 29, 2019 at age 85 after his battle with cancer. Lawrence, known to many as the “Magnet Man”, was an avid reader, enjoyed golfing, boating, and being a native New Yorker, was a Yankee and Notre Dame fanatic. Larry left a mark and touched the hearts of an extensive amount of extended family, friends and supporters. He is preceded by his parents, Alfred and Eileen Brown, his brothers Charles Brown, James Brown (Margene) and Michael Brown and his first wife Janet Brown. He is survived by his wife Susan Brown, children Kevin Brown, Karen Wirt (Michael), Suzanne Draper (Kirk), Jeff Brown (Melinda) and his grand-children Brittaney Quinn and Tyler Brown. Services will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. The family wishes to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff on the 7th floor of Northside Forsyth Hospital for their loving care.
