Lawrence Clinton Bennett, Jr., 75, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, unwavering love for his family and friends, and an extraordinarily generous heart.

Lawrence found beauty in the open road and in the ever-changing landscapes of the country he loved. He appreciated the vastness of the world around him and took joy in its quiet moments. He found comfort and peace in the company of animals, whose affection he returned wholeheartedly.

He loved his family and friends fiercely. His happiest moments were spent gathered together, grilling delicious meals and creating lasting memories filled with laughter and warmth.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Renee; his sister, Brenda Silvers; his brother-in-law, Ronnie Silvers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends who will forever cherish his generosity, kindness, and bright smile.

A Celebration of Life will be held March 7, 2026, 2 PM at Miller's Chapel.
