Judith Allen Jennings

Judith Allen Jennings, age 73 from Grayson, Georgia, became God’s angel on January 30th, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born in Jackson, Tennessee on February 17th, 1945 to the late Otha and Muriel Allen. She was a 1963 graduate of Jackson High School and attended Freed-Hardeman College in Henderson, Tennessee. Judy worked in the medical profession for 32 years. Judy was a loving wife, mother, and Mimi. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Jere Jennings of Grayson, Georgia, two daughters Dayna Poindexter (David) of Starkville, Mississippi and Kelly Jenkins (Kevin) of Lawrenceville, Georgia. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Jeremy Ball, Molly Jenkins, Shelby Poindexter, Rachael Ball, Jonathan Jenkins, and Zachary Poindexter. She had three sisters, Bettye Kennon, Marilyn Ferrell (Floyd), and Jeanne Buford as well as many nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life service Saturday February 9th, 2019 at New Hope Road Church of Christ, 3329 New Hope Rd, Dacula, Georgia. Visitation will begin at 5 pm followed by the service at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.orgmosaic) or the American Kidney Fund (kidneyfund.org)
