John Merton Dennisson

John Merton Dennisson of Berkeley Lake, GA, died on September 25, 2018. John was born March 9, 1943 in Atlanta. He grew up in Sandy Springs, graduated from Sandy Springs High School and Southern Tech. Then he served 4 years in the Air Force.

John lived 30 years in West Palm Beach, FL. Then moved back to Berkeley Lake to care for his mother.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Emily and Leonard Dennisson. He is survived by his wife of 13 ½ years, Mary Lou, daughters Kimberly Dennisson and Christine Dennisson. Also his brother; James Dennisson (Janice), his 3 Stepchildren; Stephanie Holbrook, Wade Holbrook, and Lewis Holbrook (Maria) and grandchildren; Austin, Sloane, and Logan Holbrook. As well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at Chamblee First U. M. C. on Saturday October 13th at 1:00 P.M. Reception following the service. (As per John’s request, please wear bright colors.) In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Chamblee First U. M. C. 4147 Chamblee-Dunwoody Rd. Chamblee, GA. 30341.
