Jocelyne Marie Treadwell

Jocelyne Marie Treadwell, 91, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Paris, France, Jocelyne had a deep and abiding love for her family and friends and cherished every moment spent with them. She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 67 years, Charlie Treadwell; her daughter, Sylvie Treadwell-Merritt (Robb); and her son, Todd Treadwell (Gayle). She was preceded in death by her daughter, Martine Treadwell.

Jocelyne was an incredibly proud and loving grandmother to Bryton Merritt, Anna Treadwell (Deric), and Tyler Treadwell. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Martine Lacrampe-Bayro, who continues to live in France.

Those who knew Jocelyne will remember her gentle kindness, her radiant smile, and her signature French greeting—a kiss on each cheek that made everyone feel instantly welcomed and loved. She found joy in cross-stitching and knitting; hobbies she cherished until macular degeneration gradually took her sight. Even then, her warmth and spirit never dimmed. Her gentle spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Campton Church, 1499 Shoal Creek Road, Monroe, GA 30656. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. In memory of Jocelyne, please wear colorful clothes and comfortable shoes! No black.
