Jimmie Lee Renfro, 88, of Snellville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, surrounded by his family. A man of quiet strength and unwavering devotion, Jimmie lived a life shaped by service, integrity, and deep love for those around him.
Jimmie proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he developed the discipline, resilience, and sense of duty that guided him throughout his life. After completing his military service, he built a life rooted in hard work, generosity, and steadfast commitment to his family and community.
Known for his gentle spirit and warm humor, Jimmie was the kind of person who made others feel at ease. His wisdom, kindness, and steady presence touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jimmie is survived by his loving wife, Samantha Renfro; his children, Derek Renfro and Cindy Dunn; step-children, Samantha Pohl and Deborah Wellbrock; grandchildren, Drew Renfro and Amy Renfro; step-grandchildren, Richard Pohl, Jessica Hecht, and Stephanie Hutchison; eight beloved great-grandchildren; and his sister, Sarah Stemen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney Dance Renfro and Mary Sawyer Renfro; and his sisters, Bobbie Queen and Betty Welborn.
Jimmie’s legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him, in the stories he shared, the lessons he passed down, and the love he gave so freely.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Snellville, Georgia. A reception will follow.
