JAMES ROSS LOBB, Snellville, GA – Formerly of Monongahela, PA
James Ross Lobb, 84, of Snellville, GA entered into eternal rest on November 29, 2015 surrounded by his wife and children following a long, courageous battle with cancer. Jim was born November 28, 1931 in Washington, PA the son of the late Robert and Jeanette Lobb. He was a 1950 graduate of Washington High School. On December 4, 1954 he was joined in marriage to Dorothy Rosh, who survives. He is also survived by two daughters and a son-in-law; Jane Dienes and Becky and Chuck Partain, three grandchildren he adored; Cassidy and Nicholas Partain and Connor Dienes; sister Mary Wray Lang and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two sisters and two brothers. He retired as a tool and die designer from Combustion Engineering Monongahela in 1985 and Tucker Technology Georgia in 1996. Jim was a proud member of U.S. Marine Corps serving in the Korean War. He was also a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 233 in Loganville, GA, Tucker Masonic Lodge #42, Monesson Royal Arch Chapter #164 and Shriners of Cheswick, PA. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1826 Killian Hill Road, Lilburn, GA. Friends will be received following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
