Jack H. Housworth of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017.

An Atlanta native, he was the son of the late E.H. Housworth. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Sarah Margaret Altman Housworth, brother Evan Housworth, and sister Virginia Housworth Shofner.

Jack was a veteran of World War II. He worked for many years in the family business, E.H. Housworth Plumbing Company, before moving on to become the Executive Vice President of the Association of Mechanical Contractors of Atlanta where he worked until his retirement. He was an avid photographer, enjoyed writing and published a periodical for the AMCA which often contained humorous stories about his beloved wife Sarah Margaret.

Jack is survived by his two sons Richard and Russell Housworth, stepdaughter Gwen Curl Housworth, grandchildren Neal and wife Caitlyn and Melissa Housworth, brother Kenneth Housworth, nephews Greg Housworth and Bill Shofner, and niece Lori Housworth Wade

The final wishes of the deceased will be carried out by his two sons.
