Inez Kenimer

INEZ JOYNER KENIMER
May12, 1917-January 26, 2012. Inez was born in Nashville, N.C. She was the only girl in a family of six boys. She met her future husband, Gordon, when he was there serving in the CCC. After the war, the couple moved to Decatur, where she was a long time member of North Decatur Methodist Church and was involved in many civic organizations. She was employed as an Admissions Clerk by Emory Hospital. She is survived by daughter, Kay Kenimer, of Atlanta, son Jim Kenimer, daughter-in-law, Catherine Davis, and grandchildren Brad and Eleanor Kenimer of Alexandria, Va. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, alz.org, or the Methodist Children’s Home, umchildrenshome.org.
