Harry Edward Moran

Harry Edward “Ed” Moran, Jr. was born on January 17, 1947 and was the adopted son of Mary and Harry Moran of Bradenton, Florida. He attended Manatee High School, and was a Delta Tau Delta fraternity brother at Emory University. Ed was a member and on the board of directors of the Gold Shield Foundation, the owner of Type Styles in Atlanta and the Executive Director of the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade for many years. An active member of the Hibernian Society, Ed will be buried in the Hibernian portion of Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Moran, her husband, Eric Carros, his sister, Susan Moran Robertson of St. Petersburg, Florida, a niece, Trina Deboree, and nephew, Dexton Deboree.
