George Dennis “Denny” Murphy (age 79)

Originally from Washington, PA, passed away peacefully in Atlanta, GA on Sunday, September 26, 2021. He was the husband of the late Maureen Wilson Murphy and is survived by his children Erin Reese, Ryan Murphy (Michelle), Katie Iglinski (Joe), and Tessa Rossi (David); grandchildren Kova, Wynnie, Evelyn, Aliyah, Darius, Jessica, Vanessa, Kenneth, Eddie, and Vincent; great-grandson Anderson; siblings Billy and Johnny.

A funeral mass is being celebrated in his honor at The Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church on September 30 in Atlanta.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George’s name to The American Cancer Society.
