George Donald Headley

George Donald Headley, 80, of Norcross, Georgia, passed away October 7. He was surrounded by family in his final days.
Born in Autauga County Alabama, Don Headley was a true renaissance man whose accomplishments include being a pioneer in computer science, an inventor, a master carpenter, a gifted musician who could play anything by ear, an expert marksman, fine horseman, gifted storyteller and, above all, a beloved father to his three girls: Donna, Sheryl and Tracey.
In addition to his girls, Don is also survived by his sister, Shirley, three grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
When our hearts have healed, his ashes will be interred at Royal Palms Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida, and his life will be celebrated.
