Geneva Clemmons, 90, of Marietta GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
Geneva was born in Roanoke Al and moved to Atlanta at 19 years old. She loved Atlanta and made it her home. She met and married Jack Clemmons, and took a job at the General Motors Lakewood plant where she worked for over 30 years. She loved gardening, reading, and taking care of her family.
Geneva is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Clemmons, her four sisters, Juanita Weisman, Sally McKay, Dot Salisbury, Lucille Nolan, and three brothers, Guy, Nolan and Julius Brown.
Geneva is survived by her daughter, Susan Clemmons Ferguson and husband Alan, many nieces and nephews, and close friends.
A memorial service will be held on July 18th at 11:00am at St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Marietta Ga., with Reverend Mack Riley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army and Disabled American Veterans DAV.
