Ms Dorothy M. Speights passed away peacefully March 23, 2020 during a brief stay at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She was 83 years old.
Dorothy resided in and called New York City home for over 40 years, where she owned and operated her own dry cleaning business for many years. She later became a nurse’s assistant fulfilling an earlier dream of working in the healthcare system.

She enjoyed life to the fullest and always celebrated with family and friends. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
She was a very protective and loving mother of her children and oh so proud of their accomplishments.
