Donnie Gerald Stone

Donnie, 65, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026.

Born near Boaz, Alabama, Donnie was a man who deeply enjoyed the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life. He loved hiking trails, riding bikes, and making trips to the Gulf Shores beaches he cherished. Above all else, Donnie valued time spent with his family, creating memories and sharing life with the people he loved most.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rochelle Geiman-Stone; his sister Carol Dowdy and brother-in-law Jim Dowdy; and his nephews Josh (Sarah) Dowdy and Jordan (Cassie) Dowdy.

Donnie is also survived by his children, Caleb Stone and Callie Stone, and his stepson Nick (Holly) Geiman. He was a proud grandfather to Ava and Jacklynn, and step-grandfather to Jackson, Avery, Brycen, Adeline, and Riley, all of whom brought him great joy.

Donnie will be remembered for his kindness, his love of family, and the quiet way he cared for the people around him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, located at 3700 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, GA 30096.

The service will also be streamed live for those who are unable to attend in person.
