Deborah Ann Reeder

Deborah Ann Reeder, 76, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026. She was born on November 11, 1949, in Welch, West Virginia.

Deborah was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Galen Kelly Eugene Reeder; her parents, Naomi and Earl Jones; her brother, Ray Jones; and her niece, Cindy Gibson.

She grew up in Welch, West Virginia, where she graduated from high school before moving to Hagerstown, Maryland. It was there she met the love of her life, Galen, and together they built their early life before eventually settling in Georgia. She later lived in Kentucky from 1997 to 2006 before returning to Georgia, where they made their home in Loganville.

Deborah dedicated much of her career as a safety specialist with Mitsubishi, where she was known for her diligence, strength, and care for others. After her time at Mitsubishi, she worked as a receptionist at Rector, Reeder and Lofton CPA firm, where she later retired. She was also a devoted member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 233 in Loganville, where she faithfully served her community through the children’s Christmas program, organizing care packages for soldiers overseas, and visiting the veterans home in Milledgeville. She also gave her time volunteering with seniors and at her local hospital. Above all, Deborah was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord and lived her life with quiet grace, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family.

One of Deborah’s greatest joys was spending time with her seven sisters, especially during their cherished week together filled with card games, laughter, cornhole, singing, and dancing—moments that reflected her fun-loving spirit and deep love of family.

She is survived by her loving children: daughter Misty Bridges and her husband Todd; daughter Christy Dove and her husband Matt; and son Tieg Reeder and his wife Melissa. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Madison Flannery and her husband Nate, Tyler Bridges and his wife Mac, and Grayson, Kinsley, and Maddox Reeder. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Crew, Sloane, and Myla, who brought her immense joy.

Deborah will be remembered for the way she loved so fully and so freely. She had a special way of making everyone feel like family, often reminding those she loved with her favorite words, “love you more.” Her faith gives comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with those who have gone before her, and dancing in heaven.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 2:00–3:00 p.m., followed by a time of worship in celebration of her life at 3:00 p.m. at Lifebridge Christian Church, 206 S. Hammond Drive, Monroe, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Lifebridge Church.
