Connie Sue Meade

Meade, Connie Sue, 66 of Canton, GA died on October 2, 2014. Born in Steubenvillle, OH, she was the daughter of Vernon and Elsie Snyder. She is predeceased by her parents. Connie was a Registered Nurse for 40 years retiring from both The Ohio State University Hospitals and Northside Hospital, Atlanta. Her passion was oncology nursing. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Phillip, son Shawn and daughter in-law Nicole of Canton, GA and two very loved grandsons, Ryan and Kevin, two brothers, James Snyder of Bloomingdale, Ohio, Rick Snyder of Follansbee, WV, and one sister, Linda Snyder of Colliers, WV. Also survived by dear friends Tina Pursglove of New Albany, OH and Jane Kasow of Tucker, GA.

Per Connie’s request, there will be no viewing or service. Cremation by Cremation Society of Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, a Ohio State endowment fund has been set up in her honor: Connie Meade Patient Advocacy Fund in Bone Marrow Transplant, fund number #482663.
