Celso Gonzelez Barcielo

Barciela, Celso, (Benny), 79, born July 23, 1945, passed peacefully at

home October 5, 2024. Benny grew up in Vigo, Spain and the Canary Islands.

In his youth he played soccer in Spain, Portugal and Italy, but later became

a chef and immigrated to the United States where he was chef for restaurants in

Chicago, Los Angeles, and Florida, He later opened his own restaurant in NYC.

He came to Atlanta and for 25 years owned and operated the Ole Buffet Catering

Company.

He is survived by niece Ermitas Gongalez Barciela, of Pontvedra, Spain

and Bill Snyder of Atlanta.

A celebration of Benny’s life will be announced at a later date.
